Dear Friends,
In light of the Cyclone warnings received, I and the Wardens have reluctantly decided to :
1. postpone our Mens group Breakfast from this Thursday until the 13th of March; and
2. Cancel the Meditation session on Wednesday at 5 p.m and the Ash Wednesday service at 6 p.m.
The Ash Wednesday service @ 10:30 am and the Regis service at 11:15 will proceed as planned at this stage.
The organisers of the World Day of Prayer scheduled for Friday at 10 :30 have advised that it has likewise been cancelled.
Please join me in upholding all those in harms way and may He keep you and yours safe and dry.
Blessings as you go and commending you into His care,
Revd Morris

Some ideas to help pass the time in a more meaningful way during Lent...
Colouring in the attached Lenten Calendar together - choose from the pretzel shaped or the Lenten journey or do both!
Create a Lenten candle cross arrangement - light a tea light each week and say some special prayers for our loved ones, our community and those who are struggling during Cyclone Alfred Make up an “Almsgiving Box” – take one item from your pantry or bathroom each day during Lent and place it into a box. At the end of Lent , donate your box to a worthy charity / flood relief centre etc
