Understanding God’s word.
St Matthews offers a range of in person and online bible study opportunities that shed new light on God’s word as it appears in the Old and New Testaments.
These sessions are designed to equip and sustain us for our Christian walk by looking in more detail at the sacred scriptures. We look not just at the words on the page, but at the lesson that lies beneath for us.
Only by studying God’s word in detail can we hope to know what God’s guidance is for us, and how best to apply it in our day-to-day lives.
The sessions typically run for about an hour. We use a whole range of quality bible study resources to inform our discussions and our sessions cater for all - no matter if you are just interested in knowing more about Jesus or Anglicanism, have just come to faith, are wanting to dig a little deeper, are seeking to fill your ‘God Hole’ in your life or are a mature Christian wanting to explore further and receive deeper Scriptural insights.
